A fairly complex commission for Popular Mechanics Magazine. Total time for completion was 7 days with various versions completed, and then later developed. This is the CPU and Memory Module for the legendary Psion 3a and 5mx PDA. The arrangements shown are not the same ones printed in the magazine.

 

Description

The CPU is 32-bit RISC-based ARM710T processor running at 18MHz (Series 5) or 36MHz (5mx), with 4, 8 or 16MB of RAM.
